BrokenNose 50 is being held at Roman Nose State Park, Watonga, Oklahoma. The following links are provided for your convenience. Included are versions and maps with driving directions provided by Mapquest, Yahoo Maps, and Google Maps.

Once you pass the Roman Nose Park gate and go up the steep hill, you will see on your right an A-frame style building which houses the golf shop and park offices (note golf carts in parking lot). Proceed straight past this building (the road on the right dead ends at the lodge with no access to race area), down the hill and through the wooded area. The road makes an S curve and at the bottom you will cross a very small creek bridge. Take the first right after the creek bridge. It is a full 180 degree right turn. This road leads to the tent camping area, the General Store, and finally dead ends at the RV camping area. Find a place in the grass to set up, keep the road clear of vehicles, and get ready for your race!

CELL PHONE COVEREAGE IS MINIMAL IN THE PARK!

While cell phones often work from the Lodge, the RV camping area is notoriously absent of coverage. Two-way radios generally work between the RV area and exposed or elevated portions of the trail areas, but generally do not work between the RV camping area and wooded or low trail portions.

Watonga

The City of Watonga features some amenities for your convenience including: motels, diners, a couple of national chain resturaunts, grocery store, hardware store, and hospital. While selection of these amenities is limited, the city has just about everything you might need. Well, except a bike shop. There is no bike shop in Watonga, so come prepared with all your "endurance-racing-on-gypsum-seeded, cactus-infected, no-cell-phone-coverage type of trail" biking supplies.
