ONCE YOU ARE IN THE PARK...

Once you pass the large stone Chief Roman Nose statue, you are in the park. Continue up the short hill past the Golf Shop/Park Office. If you are staying at the lodge, take the first right. That road dead ends at the Lodge parking lot. If you are staying at the camp grounds, continue straight down the hill through the S curve to the creek crossing at the bottom. Immediately after the creek crossing you will see a turn off to the right with a stop sign in the middle of the pavement (no curbs or lane markings, so the stop sign is a bit conspicuous floating in the middle of the intersection). Take this right turn (it is a steep almost 180 degree turn) and follow the road all the way to the camp grounds. The race staging area will be at the very end. Don't forget to stop at the General Store and get some grub, you are going to need it!
