About the race

Welcome to Oklahoma's annual 50 mile endurance mountain bike race. This premier event is brought to you by the Oklahoma Dirt Drifters, LLC, consisting of a group of seasoned mountain bikers who have been organizing top notch mountain biking events in Oklahoma for over a decade. The event is NORBA sanctioned and part of the Tour De Dirt, Oklahoma's mountain bike championship series.

In addition, the BrokenNose50 is part of the First Annual Ridin' Dirty Endurance Mountain Bike Race Series! This series offers a trio of tasty endurance treats, starting with the Sick Six, Clearbay, Norman, on May 17, 2009. The gooey middle takes you to the ultra-endurance feast of BrokenNose50, Roman Nose State Park, Watonga, on September 19, 2009. Then wash it all down with the six-hour Race To The Roost Season Finale, Turkey Mountain, Tulsa, July 26, 2009.

Start training, get geared up and bring your endurance appetite! Endurance mountain bike racing has made its mark on Oklahoma and now is your chance to take a bite.

How to enter

To register for the race, open and print this PDF registration form and mail it in with your entry fee. The entry fee is $50 per pre-registered racer and $55 per racer postmarked after September 1, 2009. You will need to provide name, NORBA license number (license can be purchased on event day), address, contact phone, team name, and indicate category.

Take home

Besides the cold hard cash for the expert catergory top finishers, there is also ultra-cool and original BrokenNose 50 trophies. Only the top three finishers in each category will earn the rank to take home this monument to success.
